Committee of Enquiry, and I attach a copy of their report which was presented at the end of Auguet, 1919. In accordance with the recommendation in paragraph 8 of the report Archdeacon Barnett, the Rev. T. W. Pearce, and the Custodian, with a Mr. Gerken of the Church Missionary Society as Secretary, were conati- tuted a Board of Trustees for the management of the properties and affairs of the enemy missions generally. This arrangement is in accordance with the terms of Article 438 of the Peace Treaty, a copy of which was forwarded with Your Lordship's Circular Despatch of the 17th October, 1919.
